Ari Aster

Ari Aster
Writer-director-producer Ari Aster’s debut feature Hereditary, starring Toni Collette, became a critical and box office success hit for A24 in 2018. Aster continued his genre-challenging work for A24 with his 2019 thriller Midsommar, starring Florence Pugh and Jack Reynor, and again in 2023 with Beau is Afraid, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Patti Lapone.
In addition to writing, directing and producing his feature films, Aster along with his producing partner Lars Knudsen, formed their production company Square peg in 2019 to collaborate with a host of fellow auteur filmmakers, including Robert Eggers (The Northman), Kristoffer Borgli (Dream Scenario, The Drama), Guy Maddin and Evan and Galen Johson (Rumours), and Yorgos Lanthimos (Bugonia).
Helen Hoehne

Helen Hoehne
As President of the Golden Globes LLC, Helen Hoehne leads one of the most iconic and internationally recognized entertainment awards. She has guided its transformation by expanding its global reach, increasing diversity, and adapting to a rapidly evolving entertainment and technology landscape. With a background in media, Helen has played a key role in modernizing the Golden Globes and positioning it for long-term growth and credibility within the industry.
Hideo Kojima

Hideo Kojima
Hideo Kojima is a world-renowned game creator and auteur known for pushing the boundaries of the video game medium. Widely considered the father of the stealth genre, he is also credited with innovating both storytelling and cinematic presentation in video games at large.
On December 16th, 2015, Hideo Kojima established his own studio called KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, under the banner of “From Sapiens to Ludens.”
On November 8th, 2019, the studio released its first title, Death Stranding, starring Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner for PlayStation®4 and PC. Death Stranding Director’s Cut was later released for the PlayStation®5, PC, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Since its release, Death Stranding has received numerous game awards and achieved worldwide acclaim.
A June 26th, 2025 release date has been announced for its sequel, exclusive on PS5, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach . Other exciting projects include a film adaptation of Death Stranding with independent entertainment company A24.
In 2020, Hideo Kojima received the BAFTA Fellowship, the highest accolade bestowed by BAFTA upon an individual in recognition of exceptional contribution to film, games, or television. In 2022, the Agency for Cultural Affairs of the Japanese government honored Hideo Kojima with the 72nd Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for Fine Arts in the media arts category, given to those who have made outstanding achievements and advancements in the arts.
Other notable honors include the Hall of Fame award from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (D.I.C.E. Awards), the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Game Developers Choice Awards, and the Industry Icon award from The Game Awards.

Agnieszka Holland

Agnieszka Holland
Polish director known for powerful films on the Holocaust, like Europa Europa and In Darkness. Her work explores moral complexity and human frailty. After early success in Europe, Europa Europa brought her Hollywood recognition, leading to The Secret Garden in 1993. She remains a bold voice in political and historical cinema.
Fatih Akin

Fatih Akin
Fatih Akin (director, producer and screenwriter) was born in Hamburg in 1973. He made his debut in 1998 with “Short Sharp Shock”.
This was followed by “In July”, “Soul Kitchen”, “Goodbye Berlin” and “Crossing the Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul”, among others.
His 2004 drama Head-On received numerous awards, including the Golden Bear at the Berlinale, the German Film Award and the European Film Award. In 2017, In the Fade was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, after Diane Kruger had already received the Best Actress award in Cannes. Akin’s gangster drama Rheingold recently attracted more than 1 million viewers to the cinema. His new feature film Amrum, which will be released on October 9, 2025, celebrates its world premiere in the Cannes Première category at the Festival de Cannes.

Thomas Dubois

Thomas Dubois
Thomas Dubois started his career in the TV industry as an International TV market analyst at TF1 Group. He then worked during several years on the production side for companies such as Endemol France producing hit shows for Fr broadcasters. Thomas Dubois returned to TF1 in 2014 where he joins as a Creative Executive before being promoted Deputy head of Content Development creating a new division in charge of finding the next hits for the group channels (TF1-TMC-TFX). In 2019 after 10 years working in the media industry, Thomas Dubois joined Amazon Studios as Head of Unscripted before enlarging his scope less than a year later becoming Head of French Originals dedicated to build the local French team and to find the best scripted series, movies, unscripted tv for Prime Video. In September 2024, he also took over the interim leadership of the Amazon MGM Studios team in Japan, to help drive the growth of Japanese Original. Since he joined he has launched hit movies, scripted series and unscripted hits. Among them, Mélanie Laurent’s Freedom, Franck Gastambide’s Medellin, Jonathan Cohen’s Sentinelle, Booba’s Ourika, Melha Bedia’s Miskina, Louis Farge’s Culte, the documentary Orelsan by Clement Cotentin or the hit franchise LOL: Qui rit sort.
Lars Knudsen

Lars Knudsen
Lars Knudsen is an award-winning film producer of over 40 films, including Ari Aster’s Hereditary, Midsommar, and Beau is Afraid, Robert Eggers’ The Witch and The Northman, Andrea Arnold’s American Honey and Mike Mills’ Beginners. Collaborating with other auteur filmmakers such as Yorgos Lanthimos, Kristoffer Borgli, David Lowery, and Kelly Reichardt, Knudsen has been instrumental in bringing unique and ground-breaking stories to global audiences. As co-founder of Square Peg alongside Ari Aster, Knudsen’s commitment to nurturing bold and compelling storytelling, has established him at the forefront in shaping contemporary cinema. Upcoming work includes Aster’s Eddington, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward and Lucas Grimes for A24, and Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia, starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons for Focus Features.
Emma Rafowicz

Emma Rafowicz
Vice-Chair of the Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament, Emma Rafowicz has made it a priority to protect creators against market deregulation and the challenges posed by artificial intelligence. She advocates for establishing a European cultural exception to preserve and promote cultural diversity within the EU.
Mitchel Berger

Mitchel Berger
Mitchel Berger is the Senior VP of Global Commerce at Crunchyroll, overseeing theatrical business, merchandise, manga, and content distribution. He managed the release of top-grossing anime films, including Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, and JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, as well as Golden Globe-nominated Suzume. Berger is currently handling the global distribution of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. Previously, he spent 21 years at Universal Pictures, where he led sales and category management for North America.
Charles H. Rivkin

Charles H. Rivkin
Charles H. Rivkin is Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association (MPA), the leading advocate of the global film, television, and streaming industry. Drawing on 30 years of experience as a media executive and a leading U.S. diplomat, Rivkin advocates for policies that drive investment in film and television production, protect creative content, and open markets worldwide.

Yvette Zhuang
Yvette is SVP of International Production and Distribution for Miramax, based out of Los Angeles. She joined the company in 2019 and over the last five years Miramax’s releases include The Gentlemen from Guy Ritchie, the Halloween franchise, Academy Award winner The Holdovers, Here from legendary filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, and the highest-grossing independent film of last year: The Beekeeper.
Prior to Miramax, Yvette was SVP of International Sales at STX, where she worked on the financing and distribution of over 20 films including Hustlers, Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World, Bad Moms, and Greenland.
Yvette began her career working for Melbourne International Film Festival and was an entertainment attorney at Holding Redlich before moving to Los Angeles to work for indie film financing and sales outfit Sierra/Affinity (now part of Lionsgate).
Mateus Alves

Mateus Alves
In 2024, Mateus Alves composed the soundtrack for the film The Secret Agent, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho, and for Salomé, directed by André Antônio. In 2023, he composed the soundtrack for Retrato de um Certo Oriente, directed by Marcelo Gomes, and in 2019, he wrote the music for the film Bacurau, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, winner of the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival . In 2016, he licensed music for the film Aquarius, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho. In 2013, he became a Master in Composition at the Royal College of Music, London (UK).
